Our Efficiency and Capabilites: We are able to get donations and supplies quickly into Myanmar in a safe and efficient manner, and get them distributed quicky!! Our people are already in Myanmar with a team of doctors and other volunteers at work in the Delta Area providing much needed food, medicines and supplies to victims that no else has been able to reach. the needed care and medicines.
One reason we and others like us already in Myanmar are able to help so much quicker and easier than mega-charities, is because (unlike what you will hear on the media) Myanmar is a country rich in resources. There is already lots of food and water to distribute.
• There are quite a few established companies in Myanmar that bottle pure drinking water, therefore it can be purchased more cheaply than if purchased overseas, and there are no air-cargo costs. Donation dollars go much much farther. And the water gets to the people quicky!
•Myanmar has an abundance of food supplies (again, something you will never hear on the media). Rice, bananas, vegetables, fruit, fish, chicken and more. They are inexpensive and can be transported fresh to the victims, via planes, trains, boats, etc.
• Many of the large privately-owned companies in Myanmar are donating supplies, including food and bottled water.. We get the supplies to the people that are the most desperate.
• Besides purchasing supplies, we need money for fuel to transport. We need to bring extra medicines and medical supplies that we can get from Thailand and India. We will be needing lots of buildng supplies, for immediate use and to build orphanages as there are only a very few orphanages in Myanmar.
